What You Will Do

We are seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. This person will assist with month-end close activities, including preparing and posting month-end accrual, revenue recognition, prepaid entries, fixed assets, and other entries as necessary.

1. Actively participate in daily AR and AP posting; ensure that bills are coded to proper accounts and supported sufficiently for audit purposes.
2. Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
3. Maintains accurate account reconciliations and schedules.
4. Execute the monthly financial close calendar and coordinate with managers on deliverables.
5. Special projects including ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
6. Performs additional duties as requested.
   

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or Masters Degree, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 2-8 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP principles.
• Excel expertise required.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Must be organized and detail-orientated with excellent follow-up skills.
• Must have effective written and oral communication skills.
• Must be a self-starter, hands-on, “roll up the sleeves” professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently, prioritize tasks, honor rules of engagement and follow policies, processes, and procedures.
• The ability to learn quickly and continuously and maintain a flexible and adaptive mindset necessary for a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, self-driven mindset where your growth is dependent on you.
• Creative problem solving; if you don't know the answer, you’ll know how to find a way to it.
